I know I probably should’ve put this in the comments field when making my contribution, but I suppose I’ll have to settle for the comments instead.

My reasoning for the CPU is that I’m by no means a big-shot gamer, and want nice solid performance, which I know I can get out of the 45nm E7200 cpu. This will push out the numbers I want to see, and do exactly what I’ll need it to do without actually going overboard.

The 4GB ram kit is to support Vista Home Premium x64 bit, which I won a copy of a while back but never used, because at the time of winning it, Vista was still a little too buggy, but with the improvements I’ve seen along with the release of SP1, I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to give it a shot. It’s also going to help a ton with my video rendering, because I intend on making several vids of my soon to be newborn on the way.

250GB hard drive will suffice as any large projects that I do go strait into my 4TB server over a GB lan.

The 20X DVD burner was just added in so I can burn my little girls’ backed up movies as I can’t trust with anything that’s original as of yet.

The all-in-card reader, everyone should probably already understand why this was added in. I take pictures, my wife takes pictures, who doesn’t take pictures in this day and age?

From the reviews, the motherboard will make a perfectly fine HTPC board. As stated before, I don’t do much gaming, and this fits the budget just fine, so why spend more when gaming isn’t something I’m going to be using it for.

And as far as the case goes. It’s pretty, has a substantial power supply, and does what it’s supposed to do. And it also fits into the decor. Gotta keep the wife in mind if I’m going to build this one…

Let me know what you guys think.

Hello:
Ok, after I buy all this, is it easy to put all parts together?. Do instructions come with it to see where cables and parts go?
I do have a PC repair ebook which I have not read., wonder if It can help me do it. I would love to build this PC as the price is so nice, please let me know…

The computer itself would be rather simple to put together, but if it’s your first time ever doing so, i’d recommend finding someone who knows how to do it. no matter how confident you are in your ability to slap things into place, you’re always better off getting someone with a bit of experience.
