Here at BYOPC.com, we will be holding our first ever contest. For the next three weeks, from now until July 14th, we will be accepting contest submissions for the $500 computer build of your choice. The computer build that gets the most thumbs-up minus thumbs-down, will receive that computer for free. The voting period will continue until July 28th but no builds will be accepted after that time. You will have the option of either having the parts ordered and sent to you, or the computer built by our sister company, PennyWise PCs, and sent, completed, to you. All costs will be covered.
Details:
- The computer build does not have to contain a monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. Only things inside the actual case are required - however, if you would like your build to contain those components, it can, but it must still fall under the $500 price limit.
- All parts must be available on NewEgg. If the part you use in your build becomes unavailable, you can replace with another part by emailing us, but the $500 price limit still applies.
- $500 price does not include shipping.
- Any builds submitted which cost more than $500 will be deleted, and void.
- Any builds submitted after midnight on July 14th will be deleted, and void.
- Any suspicion of cheating will prompt a thorough investigation, and if detected will result in that contestants entries being deleted.
- You can submit more than one computer build
- Builds must be submitted under the Contest category
